NVIDIA GTX 990M, great graphics power for laptops
The GTX 990M will be the next NVIDIA graphics flagship model for laptops and according to initial reports, it will be faster than the GTX 980M in SLI and many graphics for desktop computers.
Almost a year ago, NVIDIA announced the GTX 9XXM series. In October of last year, the 980M and 970M were released and in March of this year the rest of a series (GTX 960M and GTX 950M) which now aims to be boosted by this GTX 990M.
This is a development based on the Maxwell GM204 core that will increase its CUDA cores up to 2048. There’s no more info on the core frequency and the memory, but rather its consumption in TDP will be of 100-185 watts.
