Two companies that were founded and were predestinated to get fused, were Avast and AVG. Almost 30 years after its foundation, the fate has been met: Avast has thrown an offer to buy AVG for 1300 millions of dollars. The operation will be completed when the authorities of the competence give their approval.
It comes of an important fusion because we are talking about two of the biggest companies of free antivirus software. AVG Antivirus Free Edition and Avast! Free Antivirus 2016, always are shown in the ranking of best free antivirus. In fact, between the two companies, there are more than 400 millions of users, being divided between 250 millions of users of PC/MAC and 160 millions of users of free antivirus for smartphones.

You may have already realized that with the new generation of graphic cards, AMD has change their nomenclature once again, generating doubts and controversy among the users and even the experts as always. Therefore, the manufacturer has come to the rescue to explain the details of this new nomenclature that will be used from now on.
The new nomenclature that AMD is using in this generation of graphic cards is, as always, indicative if it’s known how to interpret. The monitor manufacturer AOC has announced the one that from now on, will be its new top-end monitor within their Gaming Agon family, Agon AG271QG of 27-inches, featuring NVIDIA G-Sync technology and a whopping 165 Hz frequency, among many other things.
AOC has managed to achieve with Agon AG271QG an “almost” perfect monitor for Gaming. On one hand, it incorporates an IPS-Like (AHVA) panel that has everything good in this type of panels (deeper colors, high saturation, higher color gamut, better viewing angles, etc.) but without their common main disadvantage which is known to be a response time of only 4 ms GtG (and could not be otherwise since it’s considered a gaming monitor, of course).
Last Friday, June 10 the first Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 graphic cards in their Founders Edition version went out to the market and today, only three days later, a lot of manufacturers have started to present their personalized models within which we find from models that only substitute the dissipator of the Nvidia to models with really high overlocks.

This manufacturer presents two versions of the Geforce GTX 1070, the Colorful iGameGTX1070 X-TOP-8G and the Colorful iGameGTX1070 U-TOP-8G, besides the already known Founders Edition. Truth is that they haven’t given any more details regarding any of them.
Often we hear about VPNs and the benefits they may contain for web browsing and today we’ll go deeper into the subject to explain all the details of the virtual private network which helps to establish a connection to other computers in a safe way.
The first thing we need to understand is the real concept of virtual private network, which is basically a secure network of private browsing that allows computers and devices to connect through an extension of the Internet, without being actually linked to the network, allowing secure transmission of data.
To get a clearer picture, let’s imagine two remote offices that require transmitting data or information and for this it is necessary to connect the computers to a VPN network through an extension of the Internet, that is, through the internet but without involving third parties since it is not a public network.
This connection can be given by remote access, wired connection, through something called Tunneling (Tunnel by SSH) or by internal network (LAN). Because of that, below we explain a little of what each connection means:
It was already unusual for a manufacturer with the category and history of Crucial (which is actually a Micron Technology brand) not to have last generation solid state devices in its catalog, but fortunately that is over as it just announced its new generation of high-performance SSDs with M.2 format and which use the NVMe protocol, using a PCI-Express interface.
You know that since long time ago the SSDs with SATA 3 interface reached their performance limit, which is why manufacturers of storage devices had to look for other alternatives to further improve and they found in the PCI-Express lanes the ideal solution, thanks to their high bandwidth (they use a PCI-Express rail of 32 Gb/s). Of course it was difficult to use this interface with the usual format of 2.5 inches, so the M.2/U.2 format is now the chosen one thanks to the small space it occupies and to its versatility (with M.2 SSDs variants and an adapter which connects directly to a PCI-Express x4 of the motherboard).
Transformer 3 is a similar equipment to Transformer Pro 3, but with differences that make it s more economic and not so “premium” as is attempted with the Pro model. It uses the most traditional format of a tablet with windows 10 and less of a hybrid, but maintains elements such as a magnetic connected keyboard that turns it into a laptop.

This MSI GT8S continues with the concept that the company brought with the monstrous GT80, which means a laptop with big size and thickness superior to most models, where MSI takes advantage to integrate a system of two graphic cards working in SLI and even a mechanical keyboard.
The GT83S has a 18.4 inches screen with Full HD resolution, in this matter there are not improvements and it turns out curious that an equipments that could run 4k games easily, keeps limited with 1920 x 1080 resolution pixels. If it was difficult enough to have screens with 17.3” in 4K resolution, to have 18,4” panels, it is very likely that with that resolution it will be even more complicated because of the few models that integrate that diagonal.
